. . . . woss a bleedin risk asessment ? . . . . .

. . . I BET THERE AINT NONE IN CHINA. . . . .

The Risk Assessment is the bane of everyone’s lives ‘Errol’. . . . The combination of Municipal Stupidity and Egalatarianism; and the activity of Government Parasites. . . They all think that the Tax money that pays their wages, grows on trees. . . . Come The Revolution; these people; . . those who enforce the production of such inane documentation; . . will deservedly suffer greatly at the hands of the proletariat. . . . At the end of the second war the S.S. were dealt with remember. . And they continue to be so! . . . As will these people be. . . . .

Yes I think you are right ‘Errol’. . . They had nothing of worth to say; . . so they are reverting to their Marxist origins. . . When under attack, accuse your opponent of doing exactly what you have been doing. . Arthur Scargill was a master of that tactic back during the big miner’s strike. . . But the people will see through it. . . You’ll see.

“It happens then as it does to physicians in the treatment of Consumption, which in the commencement is easy to cure and difficult to understand; but when it has neither been discovered in due time nor treated upon a proper principle, it becomes easy to understand and difficult to cure. The same thing happens in state affairs; by foreseeing them at a distance, which is only done by men of talents, the evils which might arise from them are soon cured; but when, from want of foresight, they are suffered to increase to such a height that they are perceptible to everyone, there is no longer any remedy.”

Neither am I ‘Errol’; . . but my Mother put this poem by my bedside; . . I kept it with me right through my childhood and into my early years. . . You should read it sometime.

‘If’ by Rudyard Kipling

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
Or being hated, don’t give way to hating,
And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise:

If you can dream-and not make dreams your master;
If you can think-and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build ‘em up with worn-out tools:

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: ‘Hold on!’

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings-nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And-which is more-you’ll be a Man, my son!

Thank you Mr. Kipling. . . . . I do my best.

And now these incompetants are dismissing all the ‘Indians’ whilst the ‘Chiefs’ get fatter and fatter. . . The idea that Consultants and Doctors have been underpaid for a generation is fanciful nonsense. . . A more cosseted group of people for the last forty years, it would be hard to find. . . R.I.P. Common Sense

Filed under: — Charles @ 5:18 pm
. . . . Yeh. . . eev died. . ar anty lil sed. . .

Today; surprisingly some might think; ‘Errol’ joins with me to mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for longer than most can remember.

No one knows for sure how old he was, as his birth records were long ago lost in Bureaucratic red tape.

He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as knowing when to come in out of the rain; why the early bird gets the worm; life isn’t always fair, and maybe it was my fault.

Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don’t spend more than you earn) and reliable parenting strategies (adults, not children, are in charge).

His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well intentioned, but overbearing regulations were set in place.

There were reports of a six-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher was fired for reprimanding an unruly student. Of course the students behaviour only worsened afterwards.

Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job they failed to do in disciplining their unruly children.

It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer aspirin, sun lotion or a sticky plaster to a student; but not allowed to inform the parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.

Common Sense began to lose the will to live as the Ten Commandments became contraband; Churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims.

Common Sense took another terrible beating when you couldn’t defend yourself from a burglar in your own home without risking prosecution, but the burglar could sue you for assault.

Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realise that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.

Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents Truth and Trust; his wife Discretion; his daughter Responsibility; and his son, Reason.

He is survived unfortunately, by three stepbrothers; I Know My Rights; Someone Else Is To Blame; and I’m a Victim; all of them completely amoral.

There were surprisingly few at his funeral because though a little concerned, not many realised he was actually gone. If you still remember him, please tell other people about his death.

Of course you could just join the majority and do nothing.

I received these details from another despairing friend. We are both absolutely devastated; but we are determined that he will be remembered and ‘live on’ to haunt this incompetant Government; and the next one if nothing changes.

A fact they cannot deny.(But they will)

Western Daily Press

Published 7th.April 2006

Dear Editor,

:| Your newspaper is unrelenting as it continues to print the uncorroborated statistics from the Badger Groups, as they continually attempt to defend the indefensible. . . . But there is one simple fact that even they cannot deny.

Thirty or Forty years ago, the sighting of a Badger was almost unknown. Even for those of us who have always lived right in the heart of the countryside; and in those days there was no longer a problem with TB. With Tuberculin testing and Tetracycline, the Sanatoriums had all closed, and TB had almost become a thing of the past. Then this dangerous group of fanatics emerged, campaigning for Animal Rights. They somehow saw the Badger as an endangered species; which of course it never was. They campaigned for it to become ‘protected’, like the Red Squirrel for instance, a worthy cause; and so we are now overrun with Badgers. Particularly so here in the South West. . . . Now once more TB has become a threat, not only to the survival of our Dairy Industry, but to the Nation as a whole as Bovine Tuberculosis threatens to become endemic.

People should heed these words of Niccolo Machiavelli,(1469-1527), thought by many to be one of the greatest thinkers of his generation.

“It happens then as it does to physicians in the treatment of Consumption (TB), which in the commencement is easy to cure and difficult to understand; but when it has neither been discovered in due time nor treated upon a proper principle, it becomes easy to understand and difficult to cure. The same thing happens in state affairs; by foreseeing them at a distance, which is only done by men of talents, the evils which might arise from them are soon cured; but when, from want of foresight, they are suffered to increase to such a height that they are perceptible to everyone, there is no longer any remedy.”

How true this still is of so many problems we all face today.

Yours

Charles Henry
